Getting rich is not a good goal to have

God does not want us to be poor. On the other hand, no where in scripture does he say we should seek riches. If your goal in life is to be rich, you have the wrong goal. That is not a worthy goal. Now, if your goal is to be the best widget salesman on the east coast, and in achieving that goal, you become wealthy, there is nothing wrong with that.
